The Story of Peter Pan on Page, Stage, and Screen

Come join us for a discussion of Peter Pan and its popularity in British and American culture over the past century. Our panelists will trace the story of Peter Pan from its origins as a J.M. Barrie play, to the novel also by Barrie, to the various film adaptations including Walt Disney’s Peter Pan. Lastly we will discuss the prevalence of Peter Pan and Tinker Bell in children’s media today. All are welcome! Panelists include Dr. Danielle Bray, Department of English, Dr. Marla Carlson, Department of Theatre and Film Studies, and Dr. Alison Alexander, Senior Associate Dean, Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communication.
