Trash: An Exploration in Interactive Theatre

Trash is a one-act play with music that combines elements of interactive technologies and video projection. The play is about a young couple in love who live in a landfill. When Penny gets the opportunity to move up, she must choose between love and security.

Featuring Paige Pulaski, Nathan Cowling, Lacey Wheeler, Heather Kane, Julianne Whitehead, Madeleine Tutterow, and Andrew Rabanal.

This Interactive Performance Lab production is partially supported by the Willson Center for Humanities and Arts, and is Tifany Lee's thesis performance as a partial requirement towards a MFA in Dramatic Media. One of the interactive components utilized in this production was featured in an installation that was created for the UGA Arts Festival. Ms. Lee will also be featuring an interactive element from this production in installation form at the GSA Interdisciplinary Conference on April 12, 2013.
