The “Exodusters” are African American pioneers who move west with the promise of free land. Set in the all-black town of Nicodemus, Kansas in 1898, this play, by one of the leading African American women playwrights, portrays the lengths to which a group of women must go to sustain their family on the frontier. Tickets can be purchased online.
