Notes:
- Refer to College-Wide requirements when selecting 21 hours of elective courses.
- Students must be junior status and have a 2.8 GPA to declare the Film Studies
Minor.
- Film Studies Majors must complete the 4th semester of a foreign language
(see AREA F requirements at the UGA
Bulletin Website). DRAM 2120 and 2130 should be taken in Area C.
- Film Studies Majors are encouraged to pursue a Minor in a foreign language,
English, Comparative Literature, History, Art History, or Mass Communication,
or a certificate of New Media Studies.
- Drama Majors may not declare the Film Studies Minor. The Regents demand
that a minor area be distinct from the major courses. Since all Film Minor
classes also count toward the Drama Major, the minor has never been available
to Drama Majors.
