Sean Saari is a 3rd year Lighting and Scenic Design MFA student in the Theatre and Film Studies Program. Last year Sean was the Lighting Designer for Flyin’ West. Other Design roles for past productions were Scenic Designer for Doubt: A Parable, Lighting Designer for The Fantasticks and assisted Richard Dunham with his Lighting Designs for Macbeth and The Little Clay Cart. Prior to UGA, Sean completed lighting designs for 7 main stage productions and 5 main stage set designs while earning his BA at Greensboro College in North Carolina. These credits include Cabaret, Almost Maine, Eurydice and the world premiere of Wake Walking. He won the USITT-SE award for his repertory Lighting Design for Rabbit Hole and Anna in the Tropics and was nominated for the KC-ACTF regional for his Lighting Design for Little Shop of Horrors.
