Professor Ivan Ingermann will deliver a paper on “Appropriate Appropriation?: Examining the Ethics of the Costume Cesigners Toolkit.” The paper examines cultural appropriation through interviews he held with Tony award winning costume designers Gregg Barnes (Aladdin: the Musical) and Clint Ramos (Eclipsed and Once on this Island).
