The Department of Theatre and Film is excited to welcome two new members to its faculty: Alex Mason, Assistant Professor of Lighting Design, and Jeff Sherwood, Assistant Professor of Sound Design and Sonic Arts.

UGA Theatre will be holding auditions for both our Fall production- Evil Dead: The Musical - and the annual Experience UGA production on Monday, August 18 and Tuesday, August 19 in room 115.

Big thanks to all auditioners for sharing your time and talent. These were such (wonderfully) tough calls to make!

The Mellon Grant for Building Southern Intersectional Futures and Maria Chryssopoulos present Yesterday is Dead, an original one-woman show. Written by, directed by, and starring Maria Chryssopoulos.

Craig Houk and the Athens Playwrights’ Workshop will present the new play Tracks: A Magical Realist Tragedy by playwriting faculty John Bray for two nights only at the Marigold Auditorium for Arts and Culture in Winterville, Georgia.
