MFA Film Program

The University of Georgia's MFA in Film, Television, and Digital Media program, created through collaboration by the Department of Theatre and Film Studies and the Grady College of Journalism at UGA, aims to produce the next generation of Georgia filmmakers with a focus on writing, directing, and post-production. The program offers hands-on training on campus at UGA in Athens and at Trilith Studios with Georgia Film Academy in the Atlanta area. 

While faculty in the Department of Theatre and Film Studies are among the faculty for the MFA Film program, admissions and administration of the program are through the Grady College.
