Image: Dr. Freda Scott Giles, associate professor emerita of theatre and film studies and African-American studies, has been selected to give the 17th annual Founders Day Lecture on Monday, January 28, 1:30-3:30 pm at the UGA Chapel. The Founders Day Lecture is hosted by the UGA Alumni Association in partnership with the Office of the President, Provost’s Office and UGA Emeriti Scholars. The lecture has become a Founders Day tradition, drawing alumni, students, faculty, esteemed guests and members of the community.
